Looking at how mental health services can become more sustainable

A Royal College of Psychiatrists survey has found wide variation in practice among clinicians in relation to sustainability issues.

In 2013 Royal College of Psychiatrists, in collaboration with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, created a fellowship to explore the issue of sustainability in mental health.

The project has run two surveys this year. The first looking at sustainable practices at a team level and was completed by clinicians, while the second was aimed at organisational level sustainable practices and was completed by trust sustainability leads.

The findings of the surveys were published in an HSJ article which you can find here.
