The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Foundation is a UK-based charity dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals.

Like humans, animals are capable of suffering and have interests in leading their own lives; therefore, they are not ours to use – for food, clothing, experimentation, entertainment or any other reason. PETA and our affiliates around the world educate policymakers and the public about cruelty to animals and promote an understanding of the right of all animals to be treated with respect.

PETA works through public education, research, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement and protest campaigns. PETA believes in non-violence and does not advocate or support actions in which anyone, human or non-human, is harmed. PETA is a charitable organisation that works to educate the public about the horrors of cruelty to animals through peaceful means.

Depending on context, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Foundation may be referred to as the “PETA Foundation”, “PETA UK”, or “PETA.” References to any campaign activities that occurred prior to October 2009 refer to activities undertaken by PETA Europe.

    Revolutionising Cycle to work

The Cycle To Work Scheme (CTW) requires advance outlay by trusts. Scheme take up is limited, usually to dedicated cyclists. The Pedibal CTW scheme allows Companies, Trusts, Organisations and Local authorities to provide employee’s eBikes without advance outlay.
The employee enlists onto the CTW scheme with salary sacrifice, over 12 months. Pedibal will provide a NAVIGATIA citiE eBike, in which the Trust simply repays the monthly contract in arrears, following deduction from the employee’s salary. Employers adopting the Cycle to Work Scheme demonstrate their desire for employees to benefit from available tax and NI contribution savings.

This scheme offers an assembly of advantages and benefits for both employees and employers, by providing healthy low-cost, stress-free travel. Amounting to healthier and happier staff which in the long run will reduce sick leave and lower expenditure on bringing in staff replacement. Research (source: Glasgow University – 2017) confirms people who cycle to work have 46% less chance of contracting Cancer and 42% less chance of coronary Heart Disease. Energy levels increase, and production can rise up to 15%.

The Bikes versatile design eliminates carrying when folded, using a unique geometry fold and locks which align the wheels for ‘EASY WHEEL’. Creating convenience for all users. The Guardian labelled it as ‘’The best-vale folding electric bike to hit the streets’’
This programme offers a multitude of savings and benefits and a win, win! for the Trust, Staff and Environment, substantially contributing to sustainable transport targets. To discuss the proposal in depth, Please contact:

Since the 1960s Quorn has pioneered the search for a more sustainable approach to food, encouraging consumers to make small changes to support a healthier future.
All Quorn products contain Mycoprotein, a nutritious, meat free protein that is naturally low in fat and high in protein and fibre. And, with an 80 per cent smaller carbon footprint than meat equivalents, it is not only good for our waistlines but the world’s natural resources.
