Shadow Health Minister highlights important role of sustainability in Nottingham

Shadow Health Minister, Luciana Berger was on hand at the Nottingham Roadshow to discuss the important role sustainability can play in the future healthcare system. Ms Berger addressed delegates from across the region who had come to hear the latest information and ideas on how to implement sustainable practices.

Also on hand to speak to delegates were NHS Property Services Matt Smith who addressed the huge task faced by Estate Managers in tackling growing energy costs and carbon emissions and Greenwatt Technologies Mike Woollacott who guided us through the Electric Vehicles for Rural GP Practices Warwickshire Case Study. Industry expertise was once again at the forefront of the event with insightful presentations from British Gas, M4C, Carillion, Balfour Beatty, ADSM and EDF Energy.

14:14 starter packs were handed out to every delegate with many pledging to sign up and get plotting their own gardens.
